Our intuitive abbreviation system is straightforward and easy to learn, and the software boasts a 4-million-word dictionary. Alternate dictionaries are built-in for capturing Math/Science content as well as Spanish and French vocabulary.
Enjoy unlimited use of our native streaming text platform at no extra charge. Readers can immediately view transcripts on their laptop, iPad, smartphone, or other mobile device. Flexible linking options allow you to stream text to the readers’ devices on-site or remotely.
Software updates, upgrades, and tech support are free.

V8 Connect
Connect is a Windows desktop program that allows non-TypeWell writers, such as voice writers and CART/steno writers, to display text output for their clients using our reliable streaming text platform.
Connect provides CART/steno and voice writers with unlimited use of our Web Linking platform (caption-viewer.com).
Configure your real-time captioning software to output to the Connect program, installed locally on your computer. Then, any text that you type, key, voice, or otherwise input into Connect can be immediately streamed to a client’s browser.
You can generate a unique caption-viewer.com URL for each job or client. The client can navigate to the URL on any web-enabled device to view your real-time captions in a crisp, clean text format.

V8 Everywhere
TypeWell Everywhere allows trained transcribers to use TypeWell’s text expansion capabilities in other Windows applications like email clients, web browsers, and word processors.
While this feature already is integrated into V8 Transcriber software, some transcribers wish to access our powerful abbreviation system on additional computers.
